![]() The Final Boss is found at the end of Darklight Castle. ![]() ![]() The abilities that it does not demonstrate are the Meditate ability and the Defend ability. This includes the capability to Heal itself, which considerably lengthens the time the player likely needs to take in order to defeat it. The Final Boss is capable of using the majority of all Abilities. Because the player can only see the front half of the Final Boss, it is unknown what the back half of it looks like. The Final Boss also has large claws on each of its front feet. The right head, the one coloured white, has a narrow, beak-like snout, and has multiple pointed horns adorning its head, forehead, and cheeks. Each treasure has a value in Gold, which is also the player. Throughout the sub-game, he has the option of collecting Treasure Chest items. He ventures through what seems to be a cave, and must escape. In this sub-game's intro, Kirby is seen taking a walk- but he accidentally falls through a hole. The left head, the one coloured black, has a wide and somewhat underslung jaw, and curling horns like that of a ram's. The Great Cave Offensive is a sub-game in Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra. Each of the Final Boss's two heads has a slightly different appearance. The corresponding head on each half of the body also follows this colour scheme. Each half of its body is coloured differently, with the right half (However, this is the boss's left.) coloured white and the left (the boss's right) coloured black. The Final Boss takes on the appearance of a massive dragon with two heads, each of which is wearing a silver collar around its neck. It is responsible for the Starstone being broken in the first place. This can be done through hacking the game or taking a hit stun from a nearby enemy, which grants Quote temporary invincibility. The Final Boss, true to its name, is the last Boss Monster of the main story that the player and their Vulpin have to overcome in order to retrieve the fifth and final piece of the Starstone. If Quote goes to the entrance of the Last Cave before getting the rocket, a message will tell the player that it is too early to go here.Spikes - Most areas within the Last Cave (Hidden) are riddled with spikes that deal Quote 10 damage.Touching one of these deals Quote less damage than the pools. When entering without the Booster v2.0, either with the Booster v0.8 or with the Mimiga Mask, the form of the Last Cave without a boss battle is given. Lava droplets also fall from the ceiling of certain places in the Last Cave. When touched, they subtract 10 HP from Quote. Lava - Red pools of liquid found in some areas of the ground. The bats in the Last Cave are able to fly through some walls. Bat - Usually seen flying in a sinusoidal wave pattern.Critter - Attempts to jump towards Quote when approached. Most enemies encountered in the Last Cave are seen in a red or orange colour. Energy capsules are placed throughout the area, allowing the player to regain some lost weapon energy when the capsules are destroyed. This area has more spikes and a boss, the Red Ogre. Using this Booster causes the name of the map to change to " Last Cave (Hidden)", and reverts all weapons to their level 1 form. In places where the Booster v0.8 would otherwise be needed to proceed (In the case of the Mimiga Mask), fans are placed near the bottom, allowing Quote to have an extra boost. When entering without the Booster v2.0, either with the Booster v0.8 or with the Mimiga Mask, the form of the Last Cave without a boss battle is given, and the player can navigate the area retaining all weapon energy collected up to this point. The layout of the Last Cave will change depending on whether or not the player holds the Booster v2.0. Near the end of the Last Cave are Presses. Two enemies, bats and critters, are mostly seen around the cave. The Last Cave is mainly a winding path that weaves back and forth as it elevates.
